About Zoe Cheung

Zoe Cheung is the Manager of the Alfred Trauma Registry and has been part of the Registry team since 2015. She holds a Master of Science (Epidemiology) degree, providing a strong foundation in data governance, clinical research methodology, and evidence‑based practice.

Zoe oversees the Registry’s data operations, supporting trauma performance monitoring, quality improvement initiatives, education, and research. She is responsible for all aspects of trauma data governance, including data collection, verification, extraction, and submission, as well as coordinating the operational processes that underpin the Registry’s work.

In 2017, Zoe contributed to the Australia–India Trauma Systems Collaboration (AITSC) at the National Trauma Research Institute as a Data Analyst, working across data analysis, reporting, and trauma systems development. She has also supported international trauma registry evaluations, including work conducted in China.

Before joining The Alfred, Zoe held data and research roles at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, Ambulance Victoria, and the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Monash University, gaining extensive experience in health data management and applied epidemiological research.
