About Stephen Bernard

Professor Stephen Bernard is a Senior Intensive Care Physician at The Alfred Hospital and Director of Intensive Care at Knox Private Hospital in Victoria, Australia. He is also Medical Director of Ambulance Victoria. He is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Monash University. He is co-investigator of an NHMRC funded clinical trial of TXA in severe trauma. His other research interest is the treatment of neurological injury after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest with two NHMRC funded clinical trials in progress.
