Matthew is an active member of the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service as a volunteer rural firefighter with the Mudgeeraba Rural Fire Service and has recently volunteers for the GC2018 Commonwealth Games as a member of the Medical Response Team. Matt has an extensive CV with 30+ years’ experience in neurosurgical and cardiothoracic intensive care, emergency, retrieval, rural and remote and trauma nursing. His interests are education, simulation and relational coordination and long-term outcome in multi-trauma.
