Ms Kim Williams

Manager, Alfred Trauma Service & The National Trauma Research Institute

Kim joined The Alfred Trauma Services in 2009 with extensive local and international experience as a healthcare administrator within the public and private healthcare settings. Prior to commencing her role with the Trauma Services and the NTRI, Kim worked in the specialties of sports medicine, orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, cardiology and dermatology.

She is a member of the Executive and Management Committees and is a key contributor to multiple international projects supporting project development and implementation. Kim’s role is to oversee the day to day operational and administrative processes of the Trauma Services and The National Trauma Research Institute, leading effective teams to provide support to the clinical staff, coordinating trauma training and education programs and managing medical students, observership placements and Honorary Appointments.

Kim has particular expertise in developing and delivering international trauma programs having provided project management support on trauma capacity building and trauma systems development programs in Sri Lanka, India, China, Myanmar and Saudi Arabia.
