Trauma Team Training is a Transport Accident Commission (TAC)-funded 1 day multi-disciplinary simulation based program that aims to provide a structured team approach to trauma patient reception and resuscitation in the first 30 minutes. This collaboration between TAC and Alfred Health aim to achieve standardization of a team approach to Trauma Reception and Resuscitation throughout Victoria State. The program addresses the human factors in clinical decision making, procedural skills as well as emphasizing the need to resuscitate an unstable patient as a team to ensure the best clinical outcome for the patient. This program is suitable for clinicians from all experience level.
