Rory O’Donohoe

MD, BEH (Paramedic), BN

Rory is an Anaesthesia Registrar working at The Alfred Hospital, in Melbourne. He completed his early medical training and Critical Care Residency at The Alfred, where he developed a keen interest in the management of trauma while working on the Major Trauma Service.

As a dual trained paramedic, Rory has also maintained a longstanding commitment to pre-hospital and retrieval medicine. His research at the NTRI focuses on the care of older patients who have experienced traumatic brain and blunt thoracic injuries, and he is passionate about improving care provided to this vulnerable patient group.
