Sarah Jenkins

Trauma Registry Data Clerk

About Sarah Jenkins

Sarah joined the Alfred Trauma Service in 2025.

After gaining her Bachelor degree in Nursing at the University of Glasgow, Sarah went on to work in the Emergency Department in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, which provided the major trauma service for the West of Scotland. After gaining an interest in Trauma research, Sarah joined the Scottish Trauma Network as a Local Audit Coordinator along side her nursing career, contributing to the network’s registry and helping with quality improvement projects within the ED.

After the Covid-19 pandemic she choose to leave Nursing, the Trauma Network and Scotland to backpack around South East Asia and Australia to de-stress and re-evaluate her career path. While travelling, she made the decision to immigrate to Australia. Although making the decision that clinical work was in her past now, she was delighted when a position came up in the Alfred for a Trauma Registry Clerk to allow her to continue to use her experience and knowledge to improve the outcomes of trauma patients.

She is excited to contribute to the Alfred Trauma Service and have a long career here in Australia.
