The Third Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical University is a tertiary teaching hospital in the Northeast region of China. It has 1450 beds and treats over 600,000 patients per annum. The hospital intends to improve the delivery of critical care services in order to provide better healthcare for their patients.
Key Objectives & Outcomes
The aims of this project are to assist TAHQMU medical and nursing staff with skills training in trauma care and management. Linked to these activities will be medical and nursing exchange programs and the delivery of education and research programs at The Third Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical University. The long-term societal aim of this project is to reduce preventable deaths and permanent disability as a result of injuries.
