About Anna Gunn

Ms Anna Gunn is the Senior Program Co-ordinator for the Prevent Alcohol & Risk-Related Trauma in Youth (P.A.R.T.Y.) Program at The Alfred, an initiative of the National Trauma Research Institute. Ms Gunn is a qualified teacher with 15 years’ experience, both within Victoria and abroad, and she previously worked as qualified Advanced Life Support Paramedic with Ambulance Victoria. Anna also has experience as the Community Programs Coordinator for Ambulance Victoria.

Since joining the NTRI Ms Gunn initially worked as the P.A.R.T.Y. Program Coordinator, which centred on the operational coordination of the program. As Program Coordinator Ms Gunn was also fortunate to gain valuable trauma-awareness research and publication experience. Ms Gunn has since moved into the Senior Coordinator role, where she aims to strategically expand the scope and reach of trauma awareness initiatives within the NTRI and The Alfred.

Ms Gunn’s unique background in paramedicine and education has contributed to her motivation to reducing Emergency Department trauma admissions within Victoria.
