Ms Stephanie Riley shares the role of Program Coordinator for the Prevent Alcohol & Risk-Related Trauma in Youth (P.A.R.T.Y.) Program at the National Trauma Research Institute. Ms Riley is a qualified nurse with 7 years’ experience, in both ward and emergency nursing. Ms Riley continues to work as a Critical Care Emergency Nurse within The Alfred Emergency & Trauma Centre, where she is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and a senior leader for fellow staff.
Ms Riley also has experience as a Basic Life Support and First Aid Educator within the community.
Ms Riley’s role as the Program Coordinator encompasses all operational coordination of the program. This includes content evaluation and delivery; pastoral care of program participants; coordination of presenting staff and volunteers; project administration, and building stakeholder relationships. Ms Riley’s career has resulted in first-hand experience in the devastating effects trauma has on patients and their families. Ms Riley sees her role as P.A.R.T.Y. Program Coordinator as a meaningful contribution to reducing the burden of trauma in Victorian youth.
