Dr Andrew Lim has completed the graduate MBBS(Hons) program at Monash University, having previously completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Monash University's pharmacy intern program. 

His previous research project aimed to find improvements in intercostal catheter viability by using innovative technologies, and identify new procedural modifications to prevent complications of intercostal-catheter insertions. 

His current research project’s key objective is to improve outcomes from trauma presentations by looking into identification of surgically inaccessible bleeding.  His research interests include improvement of procedural/surgical techniques and improvement in patient outcome, particularly in Emergency, Trauma and Surgery. 

Furthermore, Andrew has assisted in the Trauma Verification process of The Alfred with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons.
